We welcome all who enjoy working with colored pencil and who would like to share in promoting colored pencil art through education and exhibitions, while joining in mutual support and encouragement of individual artists.

We invite you to become part of our Chapter's steadily growing membership. We meet five times per year, on the first Saturday of February, April, June, October and December, for demonstrations, exchange of information and sharing our work. We are always seeking new ways to foster the artistic growth of our membership. Our newsletter is published six times per year, keeping members informed of upcoming workshops, chapter activities, and member news. We sponsor an annual "Colored Pencil Paintings" Show featuring award winning and regional colored pencil artists, usually held in March at the Community Gallery in Cypress, CA.

How can I Join?

You must be a member of the National CPSA organization to join a local chapter. The CPSA membership year begins each November 1. Although you can join at any time, membership fees are not prorated.

National CPSA Membership
Any colored pencil artist 18 years of age or older is eligible to join CPSA. All fees are in U.S. funds. The national fee is $40 annually (U.S. and Canada) and $45 for all other locations. The national organization offers lifetime membership for U.S. members for $500. Each October, National mails out renewal cards to all members. Learn how to join the national CPSA organization.

District Chapter 214 Membership
Artists who join the national organization are eligible to join one or more local chapters. CPSA District Chapter 214 serves Los Angeles members, but is open to all members regardless of their location.

To join the chapter, renew, or change your contact information, download, print, and complete the DC214 Membership Form and mail it to the membership director listed on the form. The chapter membership fee is $20 annually.
